C & H Steel Builds is an Authorized Worldwide Steel Buildings dealer and installer working across Maine and all of New England. We put up commercial buildings, agricultural barns, garages, workshops, and barndominiums, and we handle the job from the foundation to the final trim.
We are looking for dependable people who show up, work safe, and take pride in what they build. Steel experience helps, but it is not required. If you bring a good attitude and a willingness to learn, we will teach you the trade.

No. Some of our best crew members started with no steel experience at all. If you are dependable, safety minded, and willing to learn, we will train you on the job. Background in construction, welding, framing, roofing, or heavy equipment will move you along faster.
Most of our work is in Maine, with projects across New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Many jobs are day trips from home. Larger or farther projects can involve overnight stays, so we ask about your travel availability on the application.
You will need a reliable way to get to the shop or the job site, and a valid driver’s license. Basic hand tools and personal protective equipment are expected. Specialty tools, equipment, and rigging are supplied by C & H Steel Builds.
